Churches and Religious Shrines

Bacong Church - The church takes pride in its oldest altar and pipe organ.


Historical Sites

Provincial Capitol - Built in 1924, the provincial Capitol houses the Governorīs Office, Provincial Tourism Office and other provincial government offices. The Capitol Complex has a park line with shady trees, three tennis courts and two schools nearby.

Dumaguete Bell Tower - Built in 1811. It served as a watchtower and belfry to forewarn townsfolk against piratical raids.

Dauin Beach and Moro Tower - Clean and unspoiled Dauin Beach is the backdrop for the centuries-old Moro towers. These dome-shaped towers were once used by natives against marauding pirates.
